Every year I try and make it to the Chino Air Show. It’s run by The Planes Of Fame museum at the same airport. For as long as I can remember they have been known for their amazing collection and the fact that they fly them. They have the only Zero in the world with its original motor. One of the Northrop flying wing prototypes. The YP59A prototype. The list goes on. Here are a few shots from this weekend.
You made it to the end!
I was able to see my buddy Marty’s indian up at the David Mann Chopperfest this past weekend. He did 99% of the work himself. This is his first paintjob. It is even more incredible in person. Im going to cover a cut down buddy seat for him for when he wants to ride his girlfriend with him. The solo pictured I did a while back.
I’ve been trying to spend some time in the garage each night. This week I figured out the brake side foot control. I was able to put the lathe to some good use and heavily modify a KZ ZZR1200 pedal and make a mount for it and the master cylinder. I like how well it matches the Biltwell Sanderson pegs. I’m no lightweight and i can jump up and down on these pegs and never have to worry about them bending or breaking. I also mounted the Chassis Design Company battery box. Anthony and the guys make it easy for the home builder. They include the mounting plate and even the bolts to mount the box.
Here is some leather work I did for Robert of FBS. They make an incredibly nice line of sprayers, painters tapes, spray suits, etc. Lisa and I will be heading up to SEMA to meet them and see the bike in person. I just recently finished up this side bag and some seat screws for the bike. If your in SEMA make sure and stop by to check them out.
It’s great to see you ruling it once again and we appreciate your kind words.
